#Vintage rado watch band serial#
The number 22160494 on the case is the serial number. Most would either have a name on the dial or a name on the case back (or both), so yours is probably among the minority that didn't have a model name.

Rado made hundreds of different styles in that era, and not all of them had names. If you could provide the numbers from the movement (caliber number under the balance or on the train bridge) a closer estimate might be possible.

Judging by the hands & markers, and the style of the case-back, I would guess is was made between 19 (roughly). However, most of the 3-digit references beginning with 7 were made around the mid-1960s, and yous appears to match the style of that time. I have a list of model numbers & names that Rado provided me, but it is incomplete, and your number is not listed. The number 776 is the reference number, which would be a unique number assigned only to examples of that model. Would love to know the year(s) this watch was made and model name and / or any info you could provide me with on this piece.Ĭongratulations on finding a nice little vintage Rado.
